John F. Klaver returns with a masterclass that will help you tackle minor blues soloing. Filled with creative concepts, instantly applicable ideas and plenty of solos to learn, John has included everything you'll need to step up your blues game and take your soloing to the next level!
In this masterclass John has four sections for you to master. First up comes the PDF explanation on what is happening in this minor blues backing and what your options are when soloing over the top of it!
Next, he moves you on with 10 '12-bar solos' designed to give you plenty of lick ideas that you can use in your own solos. Each solo comes with an explanation to help you understand and internalise the various different concepts John feels you will need to learn to progress. In this section you'll be working on a wealth of technical and melodic techniques that will help you develop your soloing including; minor pentatonic, blues, dorian, lydian dominant and super locrian scales, double stops, bends, pull offs, super-imposing arpeggios, tension and resolution, plus plenty of other blues and jazz-blues influenced ideas!
